PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program

East Alabama Medical Center is an ASHP-accredited, PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program. The program provides residents opportunities to develop clinical, communication, problem-solving, administrative, and clinical research abilities as a developing pharmacotherapy specialist within a structured learning environment. Residents provide all facets of pharmacy services within inpatient and ambulatory environments. They also participate in teaching experiences, clinical projects, manuscript preparation and national pharmacy presentations.
